Entrance to the Port of Rotterdam. The red and white pole is the beginning of the median in this giant canal, the nearside being the Nieuwe Waterweg. Sorry about the dirty lens. There are over 30 wind turbines in this shot. Probably taken last June on an exploratory ride.

Turkey

Just back from a two week vacation in Turkey. Not much bicycling happening in the larger cities in Turkey, which is sad. But in some of the small towns it's a different story. We had one detour through a small town in the mountains (thanks GPS!) and there were many bikes parked and being ridden. Saw a few people out on touring bikes as well. Now that would be an adventure.
